Stylish City Oasis

Ad Lib is a stylish yet cozy boutique hotel tucked away beside Bumrungrad Hospital. It’s a great place to escape the hustle & bustle of Nana; we didn’t expect this lush green space in the middle of this chaotic neighbourhood. The place is hugged by luscious green ivy walls all around forming a living wallpaper of greenery. Surprisingly it feels like being in a small Oasis rather than in a hotel in the middle of the city.

Greenery and Warm Light

The breakfast area itself forms part of Ad Lib’s lobby, which flows seamlessly into the outdoor space beyond. The space is surrounded by floor to ceiling glass windows, exposing the space to natural warm light and offering sights onto the green ivies, which cover the outside walls.

Buffet or A la Carte

There are options for a la carte as well as buffet breakfast (530 THB net), which is served until 11am. The buffet line consists of fresh fruits, pastries, juices, selection of cold cuts and desserts. In addition, you also get a choice of one main breakfast dish with a selection of 2 sides and unlimited coffee and tea.

Regulars are not limited to people it seems, as some cute feline friends are also paying the breakfast area a visit – probably in hope of some pieces of bacon on the floor. They are quite shy and unobtrusive to guests but it’s amusing to spot them nibbling away at the wheatgrass 🙂

Overall we absolutely love the warm yet modern design of the space. Just the right balance between nature and chic. The price tag is also very reasonable for the quality of food that you get.
