Organika: A World of Scent

Organika House is the second spa-store-cum-cafe we have reviewed. Similar to Karmakamet, Organika House is a spa product brand selling all kinds of scented oil and bathroom goodies. It has a distinct botanical garden theme where most of their products are derived from floral scent like rose and jasmine. The cafe doubles as a flagship store of the brand, displaying all of their spa products. In addition there is even a full service spa which caters for all your pampering needs on the floor below.

Brunch in a Secret Botanical Greenhouse

The cafe is located in Piman 49 complex on the top floor of the building where D’ark is. The location is a little hidden as you cannot see it from a street level. The access is from an elevator behind D’ark cafe on the ground floor, which gives it a sense of a secret hidden space.
Once we entered the cafe at the top floor, we were instantly greeted by the sweet floral scent. The cafe has a very unusual setting of a glasshouse with a distinct botanical theme. The leafy tree spans the height of the double ceiling room.  It makes us feel like being in a lush green secret oasis. We haven’t seen a place quite like this before. The most comfy seats are probably the sofas with oversize cushions in the corner of the room. A wrought iron set of staircase leads to more seating area upstairs.

Novelty Concept

This time we’ve opted for Eggs Benedict with Smoke Salmon and Quinoa Shakshuka Baked Egg. We thought that the quality and the taste of the food was decent enough and comes with a pretty presentation. However, the price point is much higher compare to other places given the portion is quite small (especially the Shakshuka, which comes with one egg only).

Overall we really like the novelty and the whole botanical feel of the place. Having an onsite spa is definitely a plus point. However, having said that, we would not rush back anytime soon for their food. But instead we would come back for a nice afternoon tea and maybe treat ourselves to a nice massage. So do come here if you have the budget to splurge and want to enjoy the enchanting botanical atmosphere. But if you look for a solid hearty selection of brunch at a reasonable price, this place is probably not the one for you.
