Comfort Food in Cozy Shack
Sukhumvit 39 is home to this cozy little red brick shack called Toby’s. It’s possibly one of our favourite brunch spot to date as we find ourselves back here time and time again and for a good reason. There are also some outside seating area for cooler days which occasional used to host special events and BBQ in the evening.
We love how the space is flooded with natural light, warm wood, green plants and the usual exposed light bulbs to complete the chic cafe look. It feels almost like being in a very cozy living room of a friend’s house. There is a long wooden counter top with stools perfect for grabbing a quick bite alone or even for an afternoon casual workation with your laptop.
Hearty Brunch Menu
The menu at Toby’s is one of the most healthy and hearty selection we’ve seen. If we were to cook brunch ourselves at home then everything we ever wanted to eat is all right here on the menu. Homely brunch exactly the way we like it without having to do any washing up!
Our usual favourites include Egg Mikado (basically salmon Eggs Benedict with salmon, but with the added posh salmon caviar topping!), Fresh Corn Fritter, Baked Eggs (similar to Moroccan style Shakshuka packed with tomatoes, eggs and chorizo goodness) and Avocado on Toasts.
We were impressed by the quality of the produce being used in all the dishes here. Healthy options like yogurt and granola and cold pressed juice are also available. And for dessert lovers, their French Toast is definitely a must!
